This post wasn't really meant as feedback, just a play by play of my thoughts during the conference. I'll probably be at the next event and I hope we get to grab a beer together.

Re: Vast and grand, monumental - A Slackers Guide to Techcocktail Conference

Jared, thanks for stopping by. So I am now using Jott and RescueTime plus I totally ripped that Weekend Luddite post off from you - thanks! If I'm ever in DC I expect some good drink recos. Best!

Re: Vast and grand, monumental - A Slackers Guide to Techcocktail Conference

Fraser, thanks for the note. Seriously Powerset is rocking my world. And it was great to get a better understanding about the semantic Web. Look me up next time yr in Chicago @MarkN.

Re: Vast and grand, monumental - A Slackers Guide to Techcocktail Conference

Hi Mark, Thanks for the candid feedback I am going to link to it in our wrap-up post. It was our first conference ever so as you can imagine we learned a lot from the experience as we worked towards our mission of better connecting and amplifying the technology signal in under served communities. I am glad you got a chance to head to the event and meet and interact with some other tech folks from Chicago and other TECH cocktail communities. I would love to see you at the next TECH cocktail event and meet you in person.

Cheers,
FRANK

Re: Vast and grand, monumental - A Slackers Guide to Techcocktail Conference

Hi Mark, I'm sorry we didn't get chat at the event, but I'm glad you liked the productivity talk. Hope to see you when I'm back in the Chicago area again (or you're out in DC)! (by the way, the whole presentation is up here if you want it). Now to browse a bit more of your site...

Re: Vast and grand, monumental - A Slackers Guide to Techcocktail Conference

Glad you enjoyed my session (and that you also appreciated its simplicity). I'm also a big fan of TECH Cocktail and think that what's happening in Chicago's tech scene is reason for the entire city to be proud. It was nice to be a part of it and hopefully I'll make it back soon.
